Last week saw one of the highlights in the horlogerie calendar...the SIHH 2015 (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) which took place in Geneva from January 19 to 23. Over the course of five days, visitors to the 25th edition of SIHH were treated to beautiful examples of fine watchmaking from around the world.
Our haute favorites at SIHH 2015
There were, of course, many stunning watches to sigh over but there were some pieces that really turned our heads in a sea of glamor and charming complications. If you're putting together a must-have list of watches, then one (or maybe all) of these should be on it!
Vacheron Constantin has created a whole new collection of watches, which it unveiled at SIHH 2015. Drawing on contemporary and vintage-inspired design, these watches come in a multi-part cushion case and feature new in-house movements, new designs and new complications. Ladies and gentlemen...the Harmony collection!
Limited edition across all the pieces, you have your choice of the Harmony Ultra Thin Grande Complication Chronograph, the Harmony Tourbillon Chronograph (review on Blog Perpetuelle), the Harmony Chronograph (with a diamond-crusted small model for the ladies) and the Harmony Dual Time (also with a diamond-crusted small model for the ladies). You can check out the collection reviews on Monochrome Watches, Blog Perpetuelle, and Hodinkee.

A. Lange & Söhne
A. Lange & Söhne released seven new watches for SIHH 2015. Arguably the most talked about is the Zeitwerk Minute Repeater which comes with a decimal minute repeater. As a very rare complication, you can just imagine what a stir it caused (read the reviews on Monochrome Watches and Hodinkee). The ever-so-elegant Saxonia collection (reviewed by Haute Time) also had some new entrants with some very subtle redesigning of the dials and case dimensions. If understated is your go to, you can't go wrong with the Saxonia, or with the new Lange 1. Last, but not least, are the Datograph Perpetual and the Datograph UP/DOWN (see what Hodinkee and A Blog To Watch had to say) which are nothing short of eye-catching. Anyone looking for a conversation starter?

Panerai's offerings at the SIHH 2015 were exactly what you expect from a brand of their calibre. Whether it's a thrilling reappearance of an old favorite in the Mare Nostrum Titanio (read about it on Timezone.com, Blog Perpetuelle and Hodinkee), an unbelievable display of artistic finery in the Radiomir Firenze 3 Days (get to know it on Deployant.com) or new additions to the wildly successful Luminor Submersible collection (read Blog Perpetuelle's reviews on the Luminor Submersible 1950 Carbotech PAM 616, and the two titanium Luminor Submersible Flyback Titanio models PAM 615 and PAM 614) , Paneristis everywhere are undoubtedly ecstatic!

Jaeger-LeCoultre took a fair share of the spotlight with three fantastic introductions. Front and center was the Master Calendar Meteorite Dial Watch which, as inferred, has a dial made out of a meteorite...talk about an out of this world watch! Whether you want it in steel or rose gold (read the reviews on Hodinkee and A Blog To Watch), if you love all things astronomical, this one's for you. Also sharing the glory was the Master Grande Tradition Grande Complication (catch your breath over it on Monochrome Watches) and the Duomètre Sphérotourbillon Moon (covered on Hodinkee and Watch Time). JLC fans, stand up and take note!
