Panerai is doing some amazing things this year. They have dramatically increased the percentage of watches produced with Panerai in-house movements and are continuing their innovative approach with the addition of the highly limited Galileo Galilei's Pendulum Clock (PAM 500, 30 pieces) which is a wonderful representation of the importance of time keeping in the sciences. This reproduction of the first clock with a free escapement allowing for a clock that would add or lose mere seconds (compared to minutes) every day was a true breakthrough in horology. Watch collectors will also note the the Radiomir 3-Day pocket watches (PAM 447, PAM 529). We love the new Destro Panerai Luminor 1950 (PAM 557, PAM 559) and are very excited about the new Panerai Radiomir 1940 (PAM 518, PAM 519, PAM 520). The new versions of the Luminor feature the technically impressive Panerai 8-Day Power Reserve movement (PAM 560, PAM 561, PAM 562, PAM 563, PAM 564). These watches will be shipping later this year but please let us know which models you are interested in today. These SIHH 2014 Panerai models are very limited! As you know, we are in the midst of the most exciting watch event of the year. SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horologerie) 2014 is currently happening in Geneva. We are visiting all of our favorite brands to see the new 2014 watch models and are sharing all the news with you. You can see all of the 2014 SIHH watches on our Pinterest board, and follow the blog for more in depth discussion. See our previous post on A. Lange & Söhne. We will be updating the blog with more brands in the days to come, but please post any questions for our team in the comments. Panerai continues to impress the horological cognoscenti with their quest for perfection. This year the SIHH 2014 Panerai models have already received a ton of press. Perpetuelle, and A Blog to Watch had the first of many write ups on some of the new models.   [gallery ids="350,349,348,347,346,345,344,343,342,341,340,339,338"]
